These two prints are by Philip Bawcombe FRSA (1906-2000). Born in London, Bawcombe moved to South Africa and was an official war artist during the Second World War. Both prints are signed by the artist. They measure approx 31 x 22cm and are on good quality art paper. Both scenes are in the South African town of Kimberley – one depicts the Lutheran Church & First House and the other shows the Open Mine Museum.
